The previous review posted on this page by me was intended for the original booking of a studio apartment in Gaia Porto we reserved and NOT for this fantastic hotel. I posted it on this review page in error. My Review on the Stay Hotel Trinidad Porto is below With regards to The Stay Hotel Porto IT WAS EXCELLENT After arriving in Porto and having an extremely terrible experience with Booking.com with regards to our original accommodation here I booked in at this Stay Hotel The staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was perfect and the location right in the hub of Porto, I highly recommend this Hotel to everyone who visits Porto. You will have an amazing stay thanks to the staff, the perfect accommodation and location of this hotel After our disastrous beginning to our trip to Porto our stay and experience was saved by the amazing, friendly staff at the Stay Hotel Trinidad Porto. I look forward to hopefully staying here again in the future.

I love about everything about the hotel except that I had housekeeping walked into my room twice even though I didn't have the blue sign on. It was very uncomfortable and they didn't seem to care. After that I didn't feel comfortable in the room since there was not latch on the door. Also, some of the front staff was not very friendly and I felt I was bothering them when asked for help with the elevator or directions. The property itself was great so it all came down to the staff.

Excellently located but quiet and safe neighbourhood - 10 minutes' walk from the metro station (Trindade) with direct line to the airport; a stone throw's away to most of the main sight-seeing spots and restaurants / bars. Staffs were all very friendly and helpful. They were available and attentive. Beds and the room set-up were very comfortable. It was also a treat to us as they gave us the best-view room on the top floor. What a treat! Thank you for being super!

I really liked the staff who are very kind and helpful. The lady at the reception gave me all the useful information about interesting things happening in the city and which places to visit. She also helped me a lot by finding transportation to the airport when I was in a rush. I also liked the room, which was very nice and comfortable. In my opinion, the location is perfect, the hotel is in the center of Porto, a 3-minute walk from the Trinidad metro station.

Room was nice and clean but lacked security,for example a safe had to carry passport and money with us at all times Breakfast we had little choice as every day was the same could do with a scramble or boiled egg and a consistent supply of boiling water breakfast served from 06:30 by 06:45 water was only warm not hot enough to make proper tea Location was good for Metro to and from Airport

Good location close to the Metro, but also easy walking into the central areas. Spacious well equipped bedroom with very comfortable bed, good shower, and very welcome tea and coffee making facilities. Bedroom did not face the road, so was nice and quiet with no traffic noise. No gluten free options available so we did not eat at the hotel but were recommended the Negra Café nearby, with excellent, good value food.
